WHAT WOULD YOU DO

My daughter asked me one day if in my lifetime so far do I have any regrets....I quickly answered no ( which is usually my immediate response) and then after I thought about it for a while my answer was still no...are there things I wished I would have done and things I wished I would have said and people I wished I would have spent more time with....yes ...but no regets....
so why when I see this quote does it make me stop and think.....What would you do if you knew you would not fail?...Is there more to my life than what I am doing?... am I too secure and content to take chances ....probably so!!! Is contentment a good thing or the enemy...do you stop striving to be your best and do your best when you are content?...so to my blogging friends out there are you doing what you would do if you knew you would not fail?....

This one takes some mulling-over...I'm not sure I'm ready with my final answer, but I'm leaning towards "probably not." I know I hold back because of the fear of failure. And contentment. And complacency.

As for the question about contentment being the enemy or not: discontentment is definitely what gets me moving and making changes, either within myself or the cicumstances. It is a friend in that case. But when discontent turns into self-pity it is the enemy and we are defeated everytime.

So, you've asked a very complex question - I hope you're going to give us the answer!

Good question.
